Nepal police have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking by apprehending two Indian nationals for their suspected involvement in smuggling narcotics. Jamkod Khan, aged 38, along with his son Kishor, 18, found themselves arrested at a hotel in Jhapa district's Bhadrapur municipality on Monday. Authorities reported the seizure of 52 grams and 290 mg of brown sugar from their possession.

In parallel operations, local law enforcement arrested two individuals from Kailali district on charges related to drug trafficking. On Tuesday, Sahadev Bhandrai was taken into custody at Godavari municipality of Kailali district with 545 grams of hashish, while Prakash Rana was detained in Dhangadi city found carrying 180 mg of brown sugar.

These arrests underscore the collaborative efforts by Nepalese authorities to address the persistent drug smuggling challenges within the region.
