All schools and colleges in the Puducherry and Karaikal regions are set to remain closed on Wednesday, as heavy rains have been forecasted by the weather department. This decision extends to privately managed institutions and government-aided schools, according to Home Minister A Namassivayam.
The education shutdown follows a similar closure on Tuesday due to the adverse weather conditions.
