On Monday, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, the General Officer Commanding of the Army's 16 Corps, assessed the operational readiness of troops positioned at forward zones along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
The visit also marked the inauguration of the 'Usman' community learning centre and career counselling hub, a new facility established for local residents in the Jhangar area, underscoring the army's commitment to regional development.
During his inspection, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva praised the troops for their unwavering professionalism and resilience, ensuring that they are equipped to handle any emerging challenges in the border region.
