ABVP Pushes for Swift Resolution in DUSU Vote Stalemate

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday pressed for immediate action by submitting a memorandum to the vice chancellor of Delhi University. They appealed for a review petition over the halted vote count in the DUSU elections due to a high court order.

The memorandum calls for alternative legal measures to initiate the pending vote count, following the Delhi High Court's decision to pause the process because of campus defacement. The court had instructed candidates to clean the defaced structures to proceed with the vote count.

The ABVP expressed concerns about the confusion and lack of student representation due to the delay. They advocate for swift election result declarations to ensure student issues are addressed promptly.
