Israel's military chief and the head of its Shin Bet security agency conducted a crucial security evaluation in southern Lebanon, as reported by the military on Friday.
Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, Chief of the General Staff, emphasized that operations against adversaries will persist to guarantee the safe return of evacuated residents, not just in the present but with a long-term perspective.
Halevi issued a warning that any attempt to reconstruct villages with terrorist infrastructure will be futile, stating the IDF is poised to dismantle them again.
