Jail Sepoy Busted with Drugs Worth Rs 10 Lakh
A sepoy at Navi Mumbai's Taloja Central Jail was arrested for possessing drugs valued at Rs 10 lakh. An FIR under the NDPS Act was filed against Anil Asaram Jadhav. Caught with ganja, charas, and MDMA, Jadhav intended to supply drugs to prisoners. He was detained by the Kharghar police.

A sepoy stationed at Navi Mumbai's Taloja Central Jail has been apprehended in connection with illegal possession of drugs valued at Rs 10 lakh, according to police reports on Thursday.
An official from Kharghar police station confirmed that a first information report has been lodged against the sepoy, identified as Anil Asaram Jadhav, under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act).
The 38-year-old Jadhav was intercepted on Wednesday evening as he was entering the jail for duty. A routine inspection of his tiffin box uncovered a stash of ganja, charas, and MDMA, collectively worth Rs 10 lakh. Authorities asserted that Jadhav intended to smuggle the drugs into the jail for distribution among inmates. Subsequent to his detention, he was handed over to the Kharghar police.
