Tragic Altercation in Latur: Laborer Killed in Wine Shop Dispute

A labourer was tragically killed in Latur city, Maharashtra, following a violent dispute with a friend, the police reported on Thursday. The victim, Hajimalang Sayyed, was involved in an altercation with his friend Sultan outside a local wine shop in the Lokhand Galli area, around 7.30 pm on Wednesday.
During the confrontation, Sultan allegedly picked up a sharp object and fatally slit Sayyed's throat, according to a police official. Efforts are currently being made to locate and arrest the suspect.
In a related incident on Tuesday, a separate altercation resulted in the death of one man and serious injury to another. Law enforcement promptly arrested three individuals connected to that case.
