Night of Violence: Bike-Borne Assailants Open Fire in Punjab Village
Four men sustained injuries when they were fired upon by unidentified bike-borne assailants in a village on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road in Punjab. The incident occurred on Wednesday night as the victims were sitting outdoors. Police have started an investigation and found 12 empty shells at the scene.

In a disturbing incident on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road in Punjab, four men were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on them, according to police reports.
The victims, who were identified as Satpal alias Bittu (42), Jashanpreet Singh (19), Buta Ram (55), and Surinderpal alias Shinda (45), are currently receiving medical attention in various hospitals. Phagwara Sub-Divisional Superintendent of Police, Rupinder Kaur Bhatti, commented on the situation.
The shooting took place as the men sat in an open area of the village on a Wednesday night. The assailants, riding two motorcycles, fled the scene, leaving behind 12 empty bullet shells. Authorities are actively investigating the incident as the community reels from the violent act.
