The Kremlin has refuted South Korean accusations suggesting North Korea's potential military assistance to Russia against Ukraine. South Korea’s Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun indicated a strong possibility of North Korean troop deployment to aid Russia in the ongoing conflict.
Kim also noted during a parliamentary session that reports of North Korean military officers being killed in Ukrainian strikes within Russian-controlled zones were likely to be true. However, these remarks have been met with skepticism from Moscow.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed the assertions as 'another bit of fake news.' Peskov definitively denied any truth to the speculations of North Korea sending troops to support Russia's efforts in Ukraine.
