Delhi Police have apprehended an individual for allegedly sending a threat letter to a luxury car showroom in Naraina, previously attacked following instructions from an overseas gangster, authorities announced on Thursday.
Investigators revealed that Karan Dhingra, the arrested suspect, exploited the earlier firing incident at the showroom to send the threat letter despite lacking gang associations. Dhingra exploited the situation for personal gain.
In an intricate probe, Delhi Police's Crime Branch and Special Cell previously apprehended four individuals tied to the shooting, demanding Rs 5 crore from the showroom owner under orders from gangster Himanshu Bhau. Authorities deployed technical and manual surveillance to trace and arrest Dhingra.
