Wave of Abductions in Rahim Yar Khan: Traders Targeted Amid Rising Tensions

In the latest wave of attacks, two Hindu traders in Pakistan's Rahim Yar Khan have been kidnapped by gangsters demanding the release of their imprisoned associates. The abductions have intensified fears among the business community about their safety.
The two businessmen, identified as Shameer Jee and Dheema Jee, were taken by criminals from the riverine area, police reported. The ringleader, Kabul Sukhan, known for a bounty of PKR 10 million, is said to be the mastermind behind this and other kidnappings.
Rahim Yar Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry's president Iqbal Hafiz voiced grave concerns over the area's growing insecurity, noting that many traders have already left the district. Authorities have launched an operation to rescue the hostages and combat the surge in abductions.
