The Delhi High Court has provided BJP leader Subramanian Swamy the opportunity to submit a petition copy currently before the Allahabad High Court regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's citizenship.

Swamy informed the court that he had secured the petition copy and highlighted that the case the prayers in Allahabad differ from his pleadings. Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela instructed that the documents be electronically filed, setting November 6 for the next hearing.

The plea seeks directives for the Ministry of Home Affairs to assess Swamy's request to revoke Gandhi's Indian citizenship, alleging his disclosure of British nationality, potentially contravening the Citizenship Act and Article 9 of the Constitution.
