In a shocking incident, two men have reportedly duped a female bank manager in Mumbai, conning her out of Rs 26 lakh on the false pretext of lucrative stock market returns, according to a senior police official.

The suspects, identified as Imran Ahmed Munne Qureshi and Aamir Ali Merchant, are currently on the run. The victim is a senior manager at a private bank in Ghatkopar. She was convinced by the accused to invest in high-return stock market schemes.

Originally, the woman received the promised monthly commission, but payments soon ceased. When questioned, the duo offered excuses and began evading her, leading the victim to file an FIR.
