The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has taken a stand against alleged commercial activities under the guise of Durga Puja celebrations in Noida's green spaces.

Resident Panesh Kumar Sinha filed a complaint against a private organization's use of a public park in Sector 128 to host Durga Puja, claiming it damages the community's 'lungs.'

The Tribunal has urged local authorities, including the police commissioner, to address the issue swiftly and lawfully.
