Man Arrested for Aiding Pakistani Citizens in Bengaluru Name Change Scheme
Parvez has been arrested for allegedly assisting 22 Pakistani citizens in settling in Karnataka by providing them with Hindu names. The arrest followed the discovery of several Pakistanis with altered identities in various parts of the state. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.

In a significant development, authorities have apprehended Parvez, accused of facilitating the settlement of 22 Pakistani citizens in Bengaluru and other regions of Karnataka by giving them Hindu names, police sources disclosed on Tuesday.
Initially, police detained a family of four Pakistani nationals at Jigani on Bengaluru's outskirts. Further interrogation led to three more arrests in Peenya. The investigation also uncovered Pakistani nationals residing in Davangere district, who have also been detained.
Probing deeper into the case, police discovered that Parvez played a crucial role in assisting these Pakistani nationals in procuring documents with modified identities. "He is in custody, and investigations are underway," officials told PTI.
