The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) pressed for the publication of a white paper on the backgrounds of militants surrendering after agreements with outlawed groups NLFT and ATTF.
The historic memorandum signed in Delhi included Union Home Minister Amit Shah, with 584 militants disarming on September 24.
TPCC President Asish Kumar Saha demanded clarity on legal proceedings against the militants and criticized the prioritization of funds, urging action for displaced citizens' rehabilitation.
