The Navi Mumbai police have officially registered a case against two men following the reported sexual assault of a 29-year-old woman, now missing. The troubling incident, said to have occurred near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, was brought to light when the woman was hospitalized in Nerul.

Authorities have embarked on a search operation for the victim, who disappeared from a women's shelter after the alleged attack. Her statement, recorded by the Nerul police, outlines the assault that has prompted a city-wide investigation.

Initially handled by the CSMT Railway police, the case was later transferred to the MRA Marg police station. Police are actively pursuing leads to locate both the woman and the accused perpetrators as part of their ongoing investigation.
