Tragic Traffic Collision Claims PAC Head Constable's Life
A head constable from the 30th Battalion Provincial Armed Constabulary was tragically killed in a road accident. Gorakh Prasad was hit by a bus on his motorcycle near PAC Gate on the Gonda-Lucknow road. The driver escaped the scene, and police are investigating.

A head constable from the 30th Battalion Provincial Armed Constabulary met a tragic end on Thursday, police report. The victim, identified as Gorakh Prasad, was a 50-year-old resident of Gorakhpur district.
The fatal accident took place near the PAC Gate on the Gonda-Lucknow main road. Prasad was en route to the market on his motorcycle when a bus struck him, resulting in severe injuries that caused his immediate death, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rawat.
The bus driver fled the scene post-collision. Law enforcement has since taken measures, sending Prasad's body for a post-mortem and seizing the involved vehicle. Investigations are currently ongoing, Rawat confirmed.
