On Thursday, a local court remanded two individuals, Dharmender and Rajnish, into 14-day judicial custody for their involvement in the alleged murder of a Delhi Police constable.

Constable Sandeep Malik, aged 30, was reportedly run over by a vehicle while on duty in plainclothes near Veena Enclave, Nangloi, early on Sunday morning.

The incident unfolded after Malik confronted the pair about drinking publicly, leading to a fatal altercation. Dharmender, who was driving, fled the scene, but he was later apprehended by the police following Rajnish's initial arrest.
