In a significant development, police authorities in Peenya have detained three individuals believed to be Pakistani nationals, sources confirmed on Thursday.
The arrests follow closely after the apprehension of four others on the outskirts of Bengaluru, specifically in Jigani, raising concerns over the use of counterfeit identities.
The trio, identified as a family comprising a husband, wife, and their daughter, are alleged to have employed fake identification, mirroring the Jigani detainees. The police have intensified investigations to trace others potentially embedded across Karnataka and India using similar means.
