Father Arrested for Heinous Crime Against Daughter in Pune

A 35-year-old man in Pune has been arrested for allegedly raping his 11-year-old daughter. The incident was reported by the school authorities after they became aware of the situation. The father faces charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act and has been remanded in police custody.

In Pune, a 35-year-old father has been apprehended for the alleged rape of his 11-year-old daughter, police announced on Thursday. The crime came to light when the girl's school authorities reported the matter.

Upon learning about the disturbing incident, the school principal reported it to the police, leading to a case being filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The man was detained on Wednesday.

The Warje police reported that the accused had shown obscene videos to his daughter before the rape. On Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam stated the accused was taken to court and is in police custody for a four-day duration.
