Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a stern warning of strong retaliation from Tehran against any further Israeli actions. Visiting Qatar on Wednesday, he urged Asian nations to rally behind Iran.

His visit comes days after Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel, leading to an escalation with Israeli forces entering Lebanon. Pezeshkian reaffirmed that Israel would face severe consequences if it continues its actions.

In a press conference with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Pezeshkian criticized Israel for destabilizing the region. He also condemned the recent assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and reiterated Iran's commitment to regional peace.
