On Wednesday, Samajwadi Party workers, led by Tanveer Qureshi of the 'Mulayam Singh Yadav Thought Forum,' presented a memorandum to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Fuwara Chowk.
The document highlighted various challenges faced by laborers, farmers, minorities, and Dalit communities, as well as issues of unemployment and threats to non-violence principles. The memorandum requested Gandhi to 'discuss these points and get them implemented.'
Qureshi stated that repeated attempts to inform officials had gone unanswered, prompting them to present the memorandum on Gandhi Jayanti in hopes that bringing their grievances to Gandhi would result in the Prime Minister addressing the public's needs.
