The United States has banned entry to four members of the Uganda Police Force due to alleged human rights abuses, including acts of torture, the State Department announced on Wednesday.
The officials named by the State Department are Bob Kagarura, Alex Mwine, Elly Womanya, and Hamdani Twesigye. The entry ban also extends to their immediate family members.
This decision underscores the US commitment to holding individuals accountable for human rights violations, as stated by the State Department.
