Tragic Drownings in Madhya Pradesh: Four Dead, One Missing

Tragedy struck in Madhya Pradesh as four individuals, including three young girls, drowned in two separate incidents in the Khargone and Shajapur districts. Authorities reported that a 19-year-old man is also missing after being swept away in a river.
In the Khargone district, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Archana Rawat revealed that the girls, identified as Anshika (10), Meenakshi (12), and Karishma (14), drowned while performing a religious ritual at the Choral river. The incident occurred when one girl slipped, and the others attempted a rescue, only for the tragedy to unfold.
In Shajapur, a separate incident claimed the life of Kripal Singh Mewada (30) while his 19-year-old nephew, Nirmal Mewada, went missing. They were taking a dip at the confluence of the Parvati and Ajnala rivers during Sarv Pitru Amavasya. Search operations by NDRF personnel are ongoing to locate Nirmal.
