The police have filed a comprehensive 3,200-page charge sheet in connection with the deadly stampede during the Narayan Sakar Hari 'Bhole Baba' congregation, held on July 2, which claimed 121 lives.

The charge sheet names 11 individuals as accused, including those responsible for securing the event's permit. The court has scheduled October 4 to provide copies of the charge sheets to the defendants, according to defense lawyer A P Singh.

On Tuesday, ten of the accused, including chief organizer and fundraiser Dev Prakash Madhukar, appeared in court after being transported from Aligarh District Jail to the Hathras District Court. Manju Yadav, one of the accused, is currently out on bail as per orders of the Allahabad High Court.
