The Rajasthan government on Tuesday took a significant step toward addressing the police sub-inspector/platoon commander recruitment exam-2021 scandal by forming a ministerial committee tasked with reviewing the situation.

According to an official order, the committee will engage with investigative agencies and pertinent officers to recommend corrective actions regarding the controversial exam.

The committee, initiated on the orders of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, includes Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Health Minister Gajendra Singh, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara, Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh, and PWD Minister Manju Baghmar.

Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police, currently probing the sub-inspector recruitment exam-2021 paper leak case, has already arrested several individuals including trainee sub-inspectors.
