Hypnotised Heist: Man Duped of Rs 98,000 on Social Media
A man alleged he was hypnotised and defrauded Rs 98,000 by three individuals who befriended him on social media before kidnapping him. Police arrested the suspects, recovering Rs 27,000. The accused used friendship apps to connect and deceive people, with motives including financial needs related to a gold chain and motorcycle payments.

The Delhi police have apprehended four men who allegedly hypnotised and defrauded a man of Rs 98,000 after befriending him on social media.
The suspects, identified as Vinay, Naveen, Rohit, and Akash, were arrested following a complaint made on September 26. The victim claimed he was hypnotised and compelled to transfer the money to various accounts.
CCTV footage helped in tracking down and arresting the accused, who confessed to using friendship applications to connect with and cheat people. Partial recovery of Rs 27,000 has been made, and further investigation is ongoing, police said.
