R Rajasekharan, Managing Director of AR Dairy Food Private Ltd based in Tamil Nadu, has moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking anticipatory bail. This follows a case registered against his firm in Tirupati for allegedly supplying adulterated ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

According to court documents, the petition was filed on September 30 and is scheduled for a hearing on October 3. Rajasekharan seeks a court directive preventing his arrest until the Criminal Petition is resolved.

TTD filed a complaint on September 25, accusing AR Dairy Foods of supplying adulterated ghee containing animal fats for use in the iconic Tirupati laddus. Despite SIT's investigation, the probe hit a roadblock following the Supreme Court's intervention.

TTD Executive Officer J Shyamala Rao highlighted that lab tests confirmed the presence of animal fats in the ghee samples. However, AR Dairy has denied the allegations, citing quality certifications for their products.
