The Israeli Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant, has briefed U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Israel's recent incursions into Lebanon, Gallant's office announced.
According to the statement, the Minister highlighted the localized and targeted raids conducted by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) overnight. The attacks focused on Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon’s border area.
These ground operations are part of ongoing measures aimed at eliminating senior Hezbollah leaders and degrading the group's offensive capabilities, the statement added.
