On Monday, Mehrauli Police Station received a PCR call detailing that blood was seeping from a locked room. The police team that arrived at the scene discovered a locked room on the first floor, where they found a man, Akeel, dead near the stairs.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Akeel may have fallen from the stairs. Police clarified that Akeel had been living alone for the past few days while his family attended a wedding. He had been unemployed for several months. Authorities do not suspect foul play in the incident.
