Israel's military has initiated localized ground raids into southern Lebanon, focusing on Hezbollah strongholds that pose threats to Israeli towns, kibbutzim, and communities along the border.

According to military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, these operations are not an act of war against the Lebanese people but are intended to neutralize immediate threats.

Hagari emphasized that Hezbollah has transformed Lebanese villages near Israeli borders into military bases poised for attacks on Israel.
