A man has been arrested for allegedly blackmailing women and young girls through fake social media accounts, according to police reports.

Law enforcement officials reported that Dilshad alias Dilshad Jamali was apprehended at Mahalu's culvert with four Aadhar cards under different names and a mobile phone containing multiple fake Instagram accounts.

Ten days ago, police also arrested Naushad and Aman, who were connected to Dilshad, on similar charges. Investigations revealed that the suspects used social media to exploit their victims, threatening to release recorded material unless demands were met.
