Delhi Police on Monday announced that five different boards of doctors are set to conduct autopsies on the bodies of a 46-year-old man and his four daughters, who were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their southwest Delhi residence last week.

The post-mortem examinations will take place at Safdurjung Hospital on Tuesday, with each board comprising three doctors. The decomposed bodies of Heera Lal Sharma, a long-time carpenter at the Indian Spinal Injury Centre, and his daughters — Neetu (26), Nikki (24), Neeru (23), and Nidhi (20) — were discovered at their Rangpuri village home on September 27.

While initial findings suggested a suicide pact, police have not ruled out occult practices. Investigations revealed the family had been experiencing significant emotional and financial difficulties. Crucial evidence is anticipated from the post-mortem reports, and the police continue to explore all angles.
