PDP Leaders Accuse Retiring DGP of Human Rights Violations
PDP youth president Waheed Para has accused the outgoing Director General of Police, R R Swain, of criminalizing thoughts, weaponizing policing, and destroying lives. Para, who was jailed for two years in terror-related cases, claims he faced torture under Swain's orders and asserts Swain's actions served Pakistan's interests more than India's.

In a severe indictment, PDP youth president Waheed Para has accused the retiring Director General of Police, R R Swain, of human rights violations.
Para, who spent nearly two years in jail on terror-related charges, asserted that he was tortured under Swain's orders and described how Swain's policing tactics have devastated lives.
Former minister Naeem Akhtar echoed Para's sentiments, accusing Swain of invading citizens' privacy and contributing to rising insurgency.
