In a proactive move to gauge women's safety, ACP Sukanya Sharma ventured out in plain clothes at night in Agra. Saturday night saw Sharma call the emergency 112 services, purportedly stranded and in need of help on a deserted road.

Within 10 minutes, a police team arrived, only to discover it was ACP Sharma. This act was a demonstration of procedure, emphasizing the police's promptness but also revealing gaps in systemic safety measures.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav praised Sharma's initiative but critiqued the BJP government's current approach to women's safety. He advocated for regular 'mock calls' to ensure vigilance and highlighted the need for reinforcing existing safety protocols.
