Three Bangladeshi nationals who were staying in Tiruppur illegally and working in small knitwear units have been apprehended by local police, officials said on Monday.

A police patrol unit discovered the men at an old bus terminus on Sunday. When questioned about their identities, they attempted to escape but were overpowered and taken to the South Police Station.

During interrogation, the men, identified as Md Manik Hossain, Solaiman, and Md Matiur Rahman, revealed they were from Narayanganj, Bangladesh. These arrests bring the total number of detained Bangladeshi nationals in the region to 13 since September 24.
