SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday took a swipe at the BJP government, criticizing the lack of cleanliness in Varanasi by sharing a picture of a dirty road.
In a post on X, he questioned the condition of the country's prime parliamentary constituency and doubted the effectiveness of the 'Swachh Bharat' campaign. Yadav claimed that people are now approaching the opposition for help in cleaning roads.
Yadav also accused the BJP government of inaction, stating that it is the opposition that compels them to work. He referenced Modi's unfulfilled promise to transform Varanasi into a Kyoto-style smart city.
