Tragic End for Hero Constable: Delhi Police Officer Killed in Brutal Hit-and-Run

Delhi Police Constable Sandeep was brutally killed in a deliberate hit-and-run incident on Sunday near Veena Enclave. The tragic event unfolded after Sandeep confronted two men, Dharmender and Rajnish, for drinking on the road.

According to an FIR, the accused intentionally ran over Sandeep with their car after he asked them to stop. Dharmender waited for the constable to get close, then rammed into Sandeep's motorcycle, dragging him before hitting a stationary car and crushing him between the vehicles.

While Rajnish was arrested at the scene, Dharmender managed to escape. Efforts are underway to apprehend him, and police are investigating potential bootlegging connections. Sandeep is survived by his mother, wife, and son. Delhi Police expressed their condolences to the family.
