On Monday, the TMC women's wing organized a rally in Kolkata calling on the CBI to expedite its investigation into the RG Kar rape-murder case of a medic who was found dead last month, demanding justice be served swiftly.
Participants marched from the metro station to the Birla Planetarium near the CBI office at Nizam Palace in South Kolkata, continuing their protest with a sit-in at the Gandhi statue in the Mayo Road area.
Shouting slogans and carrying placards, TMC women activists voiced their frustrations, highlighting that despite arrests, the investigation remains incomplete nearly two months after the incident. A TMC activist emphasized the need for the CBI to quicken its investigative process.
