The Kremlin has responded to a Reuters report indicating that Iran's Revolutionary Guards were relying on homemade or Russian- and Chinese-made communications devices, amidst growing trade links between Moscow and Tehran.

An Iranian security official informed Reuters of increased vigilance against Israeli infiltration after recent deadly attacks on Hezbollah, leading to an extensive inspection of Revolutionary Guards' communication equipment.

'The only thing I can say is that our trade and economic relations with Iran are developing,' Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is scheduled for talks with Iranian leaders in Tehran on Monday.
