Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is set to participate in the Eurasian Economic Forum in Armenia on Tuesday, according to a government statement released on Sunday. The forum, a key event within the framework of a grouping of former Soviet states, will focus on topics such as digitalization, market operations, and regional cooperation.
The Eurasian Economic Union, comprising Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, often serves as Moscow's answer to Western political and economic alliances. This meeting is another step towards strengthening these ties.
