Private Tutor and Siblings Arrested Over Teen Student Assault

A private coaching class teacher and his two brothers were arrested in Mumbai for allegedly raping and molesting a 16-year-old girl. The main accused assaulted the victim between July and December 2023, and his brothers also molested her separately. Police have registered an FIR and are investigating.

In a shocking incident, a private coaching class teacher along with his two brothers were arrested in Mumbai for alleged rape and molestation of a teen student. The girl, aged 16, confided in her family, leading to the police intervention.

According to a police official, the main accused repeatedly assaulted the girl, a Class 9 student, on two occasions between July and December 2023. Additionally, her complaint mentioned that his brothers, both in their late 20s, molested her separately in a movie theatre and classroom from 2022 to December 2023.

Following the complaint, an FIR was registered, and the three brothers were arrested under sections of the Indian Penal Code for rape and molestation and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). Authorities are continuing their investigation.
