Tragic Drowning Incident Claims Lives of Three Girls in Jharkhand
Three young girls from Kahubera village drowned in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district while taking a bath in the Damodar river. The tragedy unfolded when one girl went deeper into the river, prompting the other two to attempt a rescue, leading to all three drowning. Local villagers recovered their bodies.

Three young girls, aged between 8 and 15, tragically drowned in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district while bathing in the Damodar river, police reported.
The fatal incident occurred within the Ramgarh town police station's jurisdiction when the girls, residents of Kahubera village, decided to take a bath in the river.
According to Sub-Divisional Police Officer Parmeshwar Prasad, one girl ventured too deep and drowned, leading the other two to try and save her, but they too met a similar fate. Villagers eventually retrieved the bodies of Simran Kumari, Chhaya Kumari, and Sandhya Kumari from the river.
