Delhi faces a surge in crime, AAP Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj claimed on Sunday, questioning Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena's role and priorities amidst rising law and order concerns.

Bharadwaj pointed out that despite Delhi having 209 police stations, the LG fails to visit these crucial sites. Instead, the LG is seen frequently addressing issues related to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Public Works Department (PWD), and Delhi Jal Board, often taking senior officials along for inspections.

Highlighting specific incidents, Bharadwaj referred to a recent shooting in Narayana and large-scale robberies in Gulabi Bargh and Mahipalpur. He called for the LG to visit these crime scenes along with the police commissioner and home minister, emphasizing the need for better law enforcement to ensure public safety in the capital.
