Arun Kumar Sarangi Appointed Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission
Former acting DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi has been appointed as the chairman of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for a six-year term or until he turns 62. Sarangi, an IPS officer of the 1990 batch, was previously the Special DGP (Training) and Director of the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy.

Former acting DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi was appointed as the chairman of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Friday, as per a formal notification.
Sarangi, an IPS officer from the 1990 batch, held the roles of Special DGP (Training) and Director at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy before this appointment.
The notification stated that the Governor of Odisha has appointed Sarangi for a six-year term or until he reaches the age of 62, whichever comes first. His service conditions will follow the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations of 1952.
