The Delhi High Court on Thursday sought a response from city police to a petition by former Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Singh. Singh, accused of sexual harassment by several women wrestlers, aims to quash the FIR and charges filed against him.

Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri issued a notice to the complainant wrestlers and scheduled the matter for a hearing on January 13. The Delhi Police had filed an FIR against Singh following the Supreme Court's intervention in May 2023.

Singh, represented by advocate Rajiv Mohan, claims the investigation was biased and has contested the proceedings in the trial court. Co-accused Vinod Tomar, former WFI assistant secretary, faces similar charges and has also challenged the FIR.
