Accused Kidnapper Threatens Victim's Mother from Inspector's Phone in Custody
A man named Vikram, accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl in Shahjahanpur district, allegedly threatened to kill her mother while in police custody by calling her from a police inspector's phone. Another case has been registered against him, and the investigation has been handed over to Tilhar Circle Officer Amit Chaurasia.

In a startling development, a man accused of kidnapping a teenage girl in Shahjahanpur district has also allegedly threatened to kill her mother. The threat was reportedly made using a police inspector's phone while the accused was in police custody, according to an officer's statement on Thursday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Manoj Awasthi, disclosed that Vikram, the accused, had allegedly kidnapped a 16-year-old girl from Nawada Darovakt village in the Khudaganj Police Station area on September 10. He was subsequently arrested on September 17, and the girl was safely recovered.
On Thursday, the girl's mother filed a complaint asserting that Vikram, while in police custody, had used Inspector Vineet Chaudhary's mobile phone to threaten her, claiming he would kill her post his release from jail. A new case has been registered against Vikram in connection with the call, and Tilhar Circle Officer Amit Chaurasia is now leading the investigation.
