Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Jaiswal has issued a stern warning to officials, indicating that stringent action will be enforced against those rejecting online petitions regarding revenue records due to 'vested interest'.

Jaiswal denounced these rejections, labeling them as acts of 'criminal apathy and injustice' towards the general public. The minister emphasized the government's commitment to stopping such practices during a detailed meeting with department officials, including Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Dipak Kumar Singh.

Data reveals significant file rejection rates in districts including Sitamarhi and Patna. The ACS has issued a mandate for improved performance by October, with strict targets set. Monthly performance rankings are being prepared for all Circle Officers to ensure accountability.
