A man has been detained after a violent clash in Maksi, Madhya Pradesh resulted in one fatality and seven injuries, a senior official reported on Thursday.
The conflict erupted around 9:30 PM on Wednesday, involving stone-throwing and firearms, stemming from a prior confrontation on Monday. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A man named Anees Khan was arrested and the remaining suspects are at large.
The incident, which occurred near Nagarpati Hanuman temple, is under investigation. Injured individuals were hospitalized, and Amzad Khan succumbed to his injuries. Shajapur authorities are actively monitoring the situation. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has instructed officials to ensure proper medical care is provided to the injured.
